by Ron Wynn Grady Harrell almost became part of the '70s vocal trio Shalamar , but lost out at the end to Howard Hewett . He became a solo artist for Constellation and issued three decent but ultimately unsuccessful albums in the '80s and early '90s. This was the second, and not even two songs submitted by Stevie Wonder could get it through the tough urban contemporary arena to radio airplay.
