This is the CD reissue of Jane Duboc's second solo album from 1982. The album's importance resides in her excellent choice of repertory (classical sambas like Nelson Cavaquinho's "A Flor E O Espinho" and Cartola's "Acontece," modern sambas like Djavan's "Capim," eternal songs like Caymmi's "Só Louco," Lupicínio Rodrigues' "Esses Moços," Tom Jobim's "Estrada Do Sol," Carlos Lyra's "Primavera," and several others to the total of 19), her extremely competent, highly skilled and expressive vocal delivery, and the wonderful, sometimes hot and swinging, sometimes delicate and sensitive acoustic arrangements.
