Though his voice is passable, this elder Jackson sibling doesn't have much gusto or stability as a solo singer, and a smattering of unimpressively produced, uninspired pop/dance confections doesn't help his case much. The only memorable entries are the set's two ballads: the serene, subtly dreamlike &Stuck on You& and &Broken Heart,& a duet with Suzette Charles. Here, Jackson employs an understated approach which suggests his potential in the quiet-storm vein. But he instead directs most of his energy to full-throttle uptempo numbers on which he employs an ineffective belting style, resulting in a very mediocre session.
