After three years since the release of 2010s gold-certified Enjoy Yourself, the wait for a new album is nearly over for fans of Billy Currington. The Country stars fifth studio album We Are Tonight is set to be released September 17 on Mercury Nashville. The album is produced by Carson Chamberlain, Dann Huff, and Shy Carter.
“This album is the first time that I have ever worked with three different producers,” says Currington. “It wasn’t planned but just kind of happened that way. It was a great experience to be able to bring a different sound to this album and I hope the fans love it as much as I do.”
Currington is currently riding the charts with the albums first single "Hey Girl," a Top 25 hit and still climbing. The full track list for We Are Tonight features tracks written by Troy Jones, Rhett Akins, Shane McAnally, Sam Hunt, Josh Osborne, Hillary Lindsey, Scotty Emerick, Barry Dean, Co-producer Shy Carter, Marc Beeson, Tom Douglas, Gordie Sampson, The Warren Brothers and fellow surfer Jack Johnson (a cover of Johnsons hit "Banana Pancakes." Willie Nelson also guests on the album.
