Essex-born, London-based popstress Anne-Marie released her first single ever called Karate, a title by no means randomly picked. In fact, she’s a a three-time world champion of this discipline! After collecting experience as vocalist in Rudimental’s live band, Anne-Marie is now ready to stand on her own feet. Blending electro-soul with an R&B attitude, the British popstress has created an addictive tune that’s also embellished with sound effects taken from Street Fighter. Needless to say she easily won our nerd hearts over.
Anne-Marie’s debut EP Karate will be released on July 10th through Rudimental’s label Major Toms.
