Moby言道：「身为一位47岁高龄的音乐人，当我制作一张专辑时，就是相当单纯的作出属于自己的东西，已不想期盼获得商业性的成功，更不会多加思索专辑销量与否，或是电台爱不爱放我的歌，所以没有任何束缚可以对我绑手绑脚！」这是《Innocents》全新大碟的坚持理念。就在结束2011年的《Destroyed》巡回之後，Moby很快的投入新曲创作中，听了大量Marianne Faithfull和80时期的Grace Jones作品，企图从中寻找灵感，最後将以低传真、情感层面、旋律性强为主要基调，并且辅以优质美声突显歌曲的动听和耐听度！

Innocents is the upcoming eleventh studio album by American electronic artist Moby. He announced the album through his YouTube channel and through his website on July 1, 2013.The first official single from the album A Case for Shame was also released on the same day.The album is set to be released on October 2013.

for the last 18 months i’ve been working on my next album. and now it’s done and i can write this update and tell you all. the album is called innocents.

just to be clear (and possibly kind of pedantic), ‘innocents’ the plural noun. as in ‘a gathering of innocents’. or ‘a bunch of innocents’. or whatever the nomenclature is for innocents.

the record comes out in october. the whole, entire tour for the album will consist of 3 shows in los angeles. maybe at some point in my adult life i’ll do more elaborate touring, but for now i just want to play 3 shows near my house.
