解散很久的英国80年代著名乐队The Smiths（史密斯）将于9月26日发行乐队全部八张专辑的重新修复版。

此次再版工作由乐队吉他手Johnny Marr（约翰尼·玛尔）监制，将原始母带进行重新的数码修复处理。

这次的再版专辑包括乐队的四张录音室专辑，分别是1984年的同名专辑，1985年的Meat Is Murder，1986年的The Queen Is Dead，以及乐队的最后一张专辑、1987年发行的Strangeways, Here We Come。

此外，乐队1988年的现场专辑Rank以及合辑--1984年的Hatful Of Hollow，1987年的The World Won’t Listen和Louder ThanBombs也在此次的再版名单中。

Marr透露，此次的再版将发行CD和12寸黑胶两种版本。“我很高兴The Smiths专辑的再版工作能顺利完成，我希望数码修复不会对原有的声音产生影响，而我对最后的结果很满意。”

专辑将发行一个超级豪华版，单独编号，限量发行3000套。超级豪华版包括：八张专辑的CD和12寸黑胶，25张7寸单曲黑胶，罕见的艺术设计，一张收录乐队歌曲MV的DVD，八张高质量12寸封面大海报（如图）。（编译/李翔）

Complete is a box set released by British band The Smiths on 26 September 2011. Standard versions contain their four studio albums (The Smiths, Meat Is Murder, The Queen Is Dead and Strangeways, Here We Come), a live album (Rank) and three compilations (Hatful of Hollow, The World Won't Listen and Louder Than Bombs) over 8 CDs or 8 LPs. A deluxe version contains the albums on both CD and LP formats as well as 25 7" vinyl singles and a DVD.

Despite its name it is not truly complete, at least on the standard versions, due to its lack of B Sides that weren't included on the compilations (most notably "Jeane" and "Wonderful Woman" from the This Charming Man single and the studio version of The Draize Train) as well as various alternate mixes.

The package claims "all eight albums (...) lovingly reworked from original tape sources and packaged together for the first time (...)", without however ever explicitly referring to the original master tapes. The CD version claims to be "Presented here on CD in VINYL REPLICA sleeves (...)", which actually translates into a kind of miniature LP packaging.

There is not any comment from any of the band members about this release.
