Bonnie "Prince" Billy and frequent collaborator Dawn McCarthy of Faun Fables have teamed up for What the Brothers Sang, out February 19 via Drag City. The record features 13 tracks once performed by the 50s/60s group the Everly Brothers.
The songs on What the Brothers Sang were performed with Emmett Kelly (of the Cairo Gang), Dave Roe, and Kenny Malone, with guest appearances by Oldham's Superwolf partner Matt Sweeney, McCarthy's Faun Fables partner Nils Frykdahl, Pete Townsend, Billy Contreras, John Mock, Dan Dugmore, John Catchings, Bobby Wood, Joey Miskalin, Ian McAllister, Joey Baron, Dr. Chris Vivio, and Noah Tag.
