It's been a long time coming, but London, ON quartet Single Mothers have finally announced the delivery of their debut LP. Dubbed Negative Qualities, the record officially arrives October 7 in North America through Dine Alone and overseas through Hot Charity.
According to a press release, it took two years for the long-in-the-works LP to be completed. As previously reported, the band initially hit L.A.'s Big Game Lodge Studio with Bronx member Joby J. Ford, while the group and the producer later completed the recordings in London, Toronto and Upstate New York. The end result is said to be a 10-song effort mixing "high-end punk and intellectual rendering of small town frustration."
