The third in the well respected Serve Chilled series makes a notable stylistic shift from its predecessors with a heavy Balearic leaning, presumably a result of compiler Mark Doyle making his selection in warmer climes. This change of emphasis also extends to the running order, where the focus concerns itself more with flow as opposed to prior selections, which were built up from a foundation of music that literally leapt from the track listing. That said, those already familiar with Hed Kandi outings won' t be disappointed with a consistent quality throughout both two compact discs--highlights of which take the form of Rae and Christian's late-night easy listening
