著名的涅磐乐队地下选集Outcesticide，收录了更多不同时期的未发表作品、小样、录音以及演唱会现场。该系列是由Blue Moon Records非官方出品，一共出版5集。Outcesticide一词来源于涅槃1992年的专辑Incesticide。很长时间以来，Outcesticide在乐迷中广泛流行。2004年，唱片公司出了个官方版的box set《With the Lights Out》，试图阻止Outcesticide的流行；其中大量珍贵的作品选自于Outcesticide。

The second Outcesticide bootleg of Nirvana material consists mainly of live versions of unavailable tracks (like their hilarious cover of the Doors' &The End&) and early live versions of some of their best known songs (like a 1991 recording of the In Utero track &Pennyroyal Tea&). The sound quality is mixed, at best, but some of the versions available are indispensable to Nirvana fans. Highlights include a ten-minute version of &Scentless Apprentice,& an early live version of &Heart-Shaped Box& with the solo they omitted from the studio version, a 1993 live performance of &Smells Like Teen Spirit& with Flea (from the Red Hot Chili Peppers) on trumpet, and an energetic in-store acoustic performance of &Negative Creep.& Of the otherwise unavailable songs, the most revealing is a snippet of a recording by Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love titled &It's Closing Soon,& which is an unfinished song, and despite the poor recording, gives a glimpse into their private creative collaborations. The other two originals -- &Help Me& and &In His Hands& -- were clearly not meant to be released officially, as these versions are shaky at best, and bad at worst.
