After enduring a tempestuous and ultimately unproductive relationship with Island offshoot Blue, Professor Stretch and Ned Kelly took their Underwolves project to Jazzanova's eclectic imprint, delivering their debut album in the summer of 2001. This revisit bolts reinterpretations from Compost compadres with a cheeky set of licensed mixes from the first few singles as part of the Island deal. Although Straight Ahead's Earthbound delivers a fine version of Jeb Lee Nichol's vocalled "Bird Song" and both Spacek and Ian Simmonds offer interesting takes from the master tapes, the whole thing is undone by dated drum'n'bass and a terrible running order that sees the inclusion of three versions of "Under Your Sky" and four of "So Blue Its Black"; this will test even the greatest lovers of the original album.
