The big pink are back with a full commercial
release of single velvet, following its limited run in early 2009.
Velvet crystallizes the bands love of digital
noise, whilst marrying it to an incredible
soulfulness. waves of guitar propel the song
forward whilst underpinned by a brilliant vocal from robbie furze. the track was mixed by legendary producer alan moulder, whose previous work includes my bloody valentine, nine inch nails and the smashing pumpkins.
Velvet (perversion) is a reworking of velvet by the band themselves and stems from their similar version for a radio 1 zane lowe session at maida vale.
These arms of mine is an otis redding cover.
