After touring the world with Paul Simon and Sting in 2014/15, highly regarded saxophonist Andy Snitzer returns to his own musical journey, with his latest release American Beauty. The richly textured album combines Snitzer’s love of modern textures and production techniques with his formative roots in R&B, Pop, and Soul. Featuring many of the same musical faces that populated Traveler (Snitzer’s influential 2011 release), American Beauty is steeped in the same rich musical artistry, but with a decidedly R&B flavor. American Beauty also marks Snitzer’s long-awaited return to Alto saxophone, on five of the ten cuts. American Beauty features special guest performances by Fourplay guitarist Chuck Loeb and Trumpeter Rick Braun.
