Editors recorded their new album, In This Light And On This Evening, with Flood, the studio sorcerer behind some of synth-pop's darkest triumphs (Depeche Mode's Violator, Nine Inch Nails' Pretty Hate Machine–the list goes on.) In This Light... is similarly bent, and Cagedbaby's version of its first single drills deeper into that industrial, subterranean cave-as-club zone. Basically, it sounds super weird with the lights on.
