The beats aren't particularly inventive on this inaugural meeting of the German DJ and his French muse. But they are n, and the two of them shape even the most rudimentary of house grooves into a little party of their own. And in a way, it's the Americanization of Or that lifts it slightly above European techno slop (Kittin's sojourn with Felix da Housecat probably has something to do with this). And in a way it leaves a bit of warmth on the glossy surface.
