"Outrageous" is a song by American pop singer Britney Spears from her fourth studio album, In the Zone. It was released as the fourth and final single of the album on July 13, 2004 by Jive Records. The song was written and produced by R&B singer R. Kelly. Lyrically, the track is about fame and media.
A music video of "Outrageous" was set to premiere in June 2004, but was cancelled due to Spears's knee injury while shooting the video. As the song had no video to support it, its chart performance was very poor. It peaked at seventy-nine at the Billboard Hot 100 and never charted on major charts internationally. The song was intended to be the title track for the film Catwoman.[
