专辑介绍

Just Jack returns with his stunning new album ‘All Night Cinema’ out on Mercury Records, April 6th, the follow-up to his smash-hit LP ‘Overtones’. ‘All Night Cinema’ sees Just Jack at his blistering best. Produced and almost entirely written by Jack (along with co-production by past collaborator, Jay Reynolds), Jack has come up with a genre-busting album, packed with infectious, catchy, hook-laden tunes. The new LP features straight-out, hard-hitting pop songs, wrapped around Jack’s razor-sharp lyrics and acute observations. Lyrically, he finds himself talking about everything from the sublime to the ordinary, eloquently depicting life in England in Jack’s very own inimitable way. Boasting eleven tracks on ‘All Night Cinema’, the lead single and first track ‘Embers’ sets the tone for the album. ‘Embers’ is enforced by multi-layered sounds and strings, which enhance the sentiments and lyrics of ‘Embers’ beautifully. ‘All Night Cinema’ conjures and creates its very own tale on each track, and musically dazzles. From ‘253’ – a late night bus journey fused with a Van Morrison-esque harmonica hook, to ‘The Day I Died’ – a beautifully reflective stripped down track, with a shimmering melody and cultural snapshots of everyday life. ‘Doctor Doctor’ is another album highlight, reminding us of why Jack earned himself a top position as one of Britain’s cutting edge, new artists. ‘Embers’ has already been receiving airplay on Radio One from Sarah Cox and Pete Tong, as well as from Lily Allen who recently stepped in for Zane Lowe. This triumphant return looks set to follow in the same vein as previous hit singles ‘Writers Block’ and ‘Starz In Their Eyes’ which reached No. 2 in the charts, both featured on Jack’s Double Gold selling LP ‘Overtones’
