Old 97s are celebrating their 20th anniversary this year and will release Most Messed Up on April 29 via ATO. The record, recorded in Austin with producer Salim Nourallah, features guest appearances from The Replacements Tommy Stinson and Jon Rauhouse (Neko Cases band). The band have released the first single from the album, "Longer Than Youve Been Alive," and Rhett Miller gets off more than a few good lines ("Life is a marathon and sometimes you puke").
