Arguably Ut's best, this double-EP set has moments even more adventurous than Conviction did. Easily their most coherent record, as the band sounds tighter and more in control, without sacrificing one bit of the looseness and noise that make them so distinctive. The songs here sound as though more attention was paid to their construction and writing, making this is a more polished record in many ways. But not every edge is sanded smooth; there's plenty of bark and bite here.
