Not their strongest effort, Where-Ever Land shows a slight move from their trademark Mersey-inspired pop in favor of slightly harder material with a touch of radio-ready gloss. Fortunately, this deviation was short-lived. The album was reissued on CD in 1998 with five bonus tracks (two unreleased demos and three acoustic songs performed live on a radio program).
