1993年Therion发表了带有神祕标题名的第三张专辑《Symphony Masses: Ho Drakon Ho Megas》，这是一张将Death Metal融合交响成份、阿拉伯民乐、工业以及80年代重金属的实验性专辑，除了广受好平之外，也让乐队更向前迈进一大步。不过此时乐队的成员问題又再次浮现，由与当时Therion的唱片销量仍不够高，但却需要成员们投注相当多的时间与工作量，被视为不符经济效益，于是Therion很快地组成了第三代，不过成员除了Christofer与原任的鼓手外，只加入了一名新的贝斯手，使乐队成为了3人乐队，随后Therion即与Samael、Grave和Massacra共同举行他们首次的大型巡回演唱会。

Our most experimental album. Traditional 80’s heavy metal, classic music, industrial and Persian/Arabic influences is mixed with death metal.
