A very strong representation of Keiji Haino cutting loose in a solo context. Recorded live in Japan, Execration That Accept to Acknowledge is a 40-minute chunk of skronk built upon some predictable structural dynamics (loud to very loud to soft to sudden silence), but there's enough density and variance in the piece to make this relentless ferocity accessible. Uncompromising and berserk, this is a thrilling, unclassifiable hybrid. It's as if AC/DC's Angus Young discovered Pete Cosey's soloing on Miles Davis' Agharta and created a whole new trick bag. Not for those who are made woozy by extreme noise damage.
