Sound Yoga is a collection of six compositions from Dean Evenson's extensive discography and four new pieces featuring him and other artists from the Soundings family. This 68-minute musical extravaganza is designed to accompany the ultimate yoga experience. It has many other uses as well. It is excellent for meditation, massage, healing, and other clinical practices. It is perfect background ambience, too. Evenson's recording, sound design, and mixing techniques enhance the natural timbres of the instruments to give this disc deep appeal as acoustic space music. All in all, this is a diverse -- and great -- CD. It will appeal to fans of Riley Lee, Stan Richardson, Deuter, and Lisa Lynne.
