The group's second full-length album finds Miranda Sex Garden going in a rock direction. Loud guitars and pounding drums mix with droning cellos and sawing violins on songs such as &Open Eyes.& Even the group's vocal style is more pungent and aggressive, with the heretofore dulcet tones of the group now transformed into wild, banshee-like shrieks and snarls. Despite the radical changes in direction, the group still manages to create a powerful and individual album in Suspiria. Along with Madra, it's one of the group's best efforts.
