From the excellent Kraut-disco of &Interstate& to swirling space-crunch on &Chicago Indian,& Power of Seven is the group's most accomplished album. It's the set where the programming abilities of Hillage and Giraudy finally caught up with developments by younger producers on the electronic scene. Although the whale noises on &Davy Jones' Locker& are just a tad passé, most everything else works on this solid album.
