Despite their solid pre-grunge pedigree, Seattle's Gruntruck are probably doomed to be remembered as a &poor man's Soundgarden.& In fact, many songs (especially the title track) on their 1991 debut, Inside Yours would fit right in on any of that band's first few albums. Still, lack of originality hardly spells bad songwriting, and singer Ben McMillan offers a few nuggets with &Crucifunkin',& &Paint,& and the groove-heavy &Not a Lot to Save.&
