Informed, slightly pessimistic listeners will have no trouble seeing exactly where the shouting breakbeat hardcore group Adrenalin Junkies is coming from. Released a few years after the electronica boom led by the Chemical Brothers, Electro Tribe recycles dance-metal conventions from the late '90s, courtesy of influences like Prodigy and Atari Teenage Riot (ATR's Alec Empire could easily attempt legal action for their inclusion of a track called &Digital Hardcore&). However, the programming is nowhere near the league of Liam Howlett or Alec Empire, leaving an act like the personality-driven Adrenalin Junkies out in the cold.
