This LP contains more than its share of brilliant music. Tenorman Stan Getz meets up with baritonist Gerry Mulligan, trumpeter Harry &Sweets& Edison, the Oscar Peterson Trio and drummer Louie Bellson for three standards and a lyrical ballad medley but it is the well-constructed solos on the blues &Chocolate Sundae& (during which every note seems to fit perfectly) that are most memorable.
