Kate Miller is a London-based singer-songwriter and potential rising star, and in my opinion another artist which could be included in the upcoming BBC Sound of 2015.
She has been working in the studio with A-list writers and producers, including Jon Green, Jesse Quinn, Jim Irvin, Julian Emery, Nick Atkinson and Ed Harcourt, who have worked with artists like Paloma Faith, Ed Sheeran, Lana Del Rey, Chlöe Howl or Gabrielle Aplin.
Miller is currently promoting her debut EP entitled “Neophyte“, scheduled to be released on digital retailers on September 28, 2014 via Karma Artist Music. Following the premiere of the first taste with the glorious and lustful track “Fortify“, the singer returns with another and bloody brilliant snack called “Collar Up“.
The song has everything she needs to have to win over the public. The right touch of alternative mixed perfectly with the sound close enough to the mainstream. Her voice is perfect for radio, resulting in something very cool.
All the tracks on the EP were written and produced by Miller with the collaboration of Jonny Lattimer.
