2003 was a year in Canadian music that will not soon be forgotten and the achievements of our world-class artists are reflected in the Juno Awards 2004 track-listing as a complete celebration of the past 12 months in Canadian music. The star-studded 18 tracks showcase the who's who in Canadian music today.
The Juno Awards 2004 compilation album is a non-profit package with all profits going to CARAS and their on-going support of individual music scholarships and the "Band-Aid" program; dedicated to providing schools with musical instruments to help develop music programs. "The Juno Awards 2004 compilation is a snapshot of how musically diverse we are as Canadians," said Randy Lennox, President and CEO, Universal Music Canada. "What better way than the Juno Awards 2004 compilation album to showcase Canada's rich musical talent."
New to this year's Juno Awards CD package is the "Juno Awards Golden Ticket Sweepstakes". Inside each Juno Awards 2004 CD, fans will find a ballot with a unique PIN code.The Juno Awards 2004 compilation includes an added DVD value that features exclusive performance footage from the 2003 Juno Awards that were hosted in Ottawa-Gatineau, including: Shania Twain UP!; Swollen Members Steppin' Thru; Remy Shand Liberate; Blue Rodeo Bullet Proof; Avril Lavigne Losing Grip.
