The kitsch enthusiast or novelty seeker will enjoy Ray Conniff's I Can See Clearly Now . Known primarily for orchestral versions of contemporary songs, his recordings during the late '60s and early '70s as the Ray Conniff Singers included many straightforward recordings of current pop hits. This 1973 collection includes songs by Helen Reddy , Johnny Nash , the Fifth Dimension , Gallery , the Jackson 5 , Albert Hammond , the Isley Brothers and Seals & Crofts ! This fun easy listening album has only an average track listing, although it is a cheerful artifact of the early '70s. If you are going to revisit the Ray Conniff catalog, note that Collectables reissued this album in 2004 as a two-fer with Harmony .
