On October 9, Slumberland will release a new single from the Pains of Being Pure at Heart, &Jeremy& b/w &My Life Is Wrong&. As that title suggests, the A-side will feature a cover of the Magnetic Fields' &Jeremy& from The Wayward Bus, and the B-side will have a cover of East River Pipe's &My Life Is Wrong&. The Mag Fields cover is streaming over at the band's fan Tumblr, fuck yeah the pains of being pure at heart, along with an explanation by band member Peggy Wang about why they chose to cover that song.
The single marks the first recordings from the band since last year's Belong, and they were recorded in Nicolas Vernhes' Rare Book Room studio in Brooklyn.
