A Sky of Dreams, Stramp's first solo recording, offers listeners a neo-primitive collection of solos for flutes of the world. Stramp, one half of the group Coyote Oldman, uses primitive flutes, panpipes and revolutionary sound processing to create new music of depth and beauty. The flutes are made of bamboo, cane or wood and come from many different countries. (No synthesizers or samplers are used on this recording). This release contains ten intimate and powerful compositions for shakuhachi, kena, bansuri and siku.
