As with everything related to Teletubbies, Bedtime and Playtime Stories presents ten playful, whimsical stories in a straightforward yet cyclical manner. The poetically named "Big Wind and Come Back Everything" finds the 'Tubbies deprived of their favorite possessions until the wind brings everything back; we hear Dipsy, Laa-Laa, Tinky-Winky, and Po go from sadness to joy as their things are returned to them. "Tubby Toast Accident" tells the tale of too much toast at breakfast time, and "Laa-Laa's Best Song" sings the praises of individuality. A non-Teletubby telling of "The Gingerbread Boy" and an instrumental version of "Rock-A-Bye Baby" round out this soothing, hypnotically repetitive collection, which young Teletubbies fans will find almost as compelling as the TV show.
