During the past several years, Ben Tavera King has carved a niche for himself as one of the leading composers of Southwestern music. Ben enjoys combining elements of Hispanic guitar with melodies and rhythms native to the Southwest. On his newest release, the Native American flute and nylon-string guitar blend together their unique sounds in a series of compositions reflecting the culture, myths and ceremonies of the American Southwest. Additional instrumentation includes synthesizer and percussion.
