Electric Crate Digger is the full-length continuation of a two-part EP series begun in 1995 and subtitled "Hardfloor Presents DaDamPhreakNoizPhunk." Given that fact, it's much easier to see the album in light of Hardfloor's developing interest in breakbeats than as the big-beat crossover record it certainly sounds like. Still, Bondzio and Zenker are much better producing full-on trance than these rather lame sample pastiches.
