A decent set of urban contemporary tracks by a prolific composer, producer, and performer. Gary Taylor had written material for Marlena Shaw, Michael Wycoff, the Whispers, Vesta Williams, and many others, as well as doing his own A&M and Virgin albums. This release generated more noise in England than in America. He had several moderate English hits, among them "Time After Time" and "I Live 4 U." Like Taylor's other albums, there were too many styles displayed with little regard for pacing, thematic unity, or the audience. He certainly has talent, but has yet to harness it in a manner that both showcases his skills and gets him noticed.
