Like Hoes with Attitude, Bytches with Problems was often called a female 2 Live Crew because of its X-rated, rude and crude lyrics. And like the Crew, the Bytches were a guilty pleasure one would enjoy only after his girlfriend had left the room. This CD isn't breathtaking or revolutionary by any means, but it's enjoyable and often amusing. Say what you will about such obnoxious fare as "Cotex" and "Two Minute Brother" -- this CD is highly entertaining. Critics of the Bytches argued that this CD promoted a stereotypical image of African-American women -- the problem with that argument is that someone would have to be quite a racist to think that all Black women are like what this CD portrays. Not for the politically correct crowd, The Bytches should be enjoyed only by those who aren't offended by sexually explicit lyrics.
