The final legacy of the late Tiny Tim, he who stretched that quivering falsetto/ukelele '60s novelty tune "Tiptoe Through the Tulips" into a lifetime of minor fame, turned out to be Tiny Tim's Christmas Album. The piercingly twee vocals guiding "Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer" are leavened by a children's choir, while the naked "All I Want for Christmas" and "O Holy Night" are simply too painful for words. Surprisingly, Tim's second voice is a huge, dramatic baritone which he unleashes to bombastic, militaristic effect on a very scary nine-minute medley.
