A heartfelt soundtrack that lives up to E.B. White's classic tale of a lovable pig, Danny Elfman's original score to the 2006 live-action film version of Charlotte's Web finds the often quirky composer mixing his trademark wondrous and spooky style with a more classical sound that brings to mind the work of iconic American composer Aaron Copland. The move is a fitting one given that Charlotte's Web takes place on a farm and, in that sense, Elfman's work here most closely borrows from Copland's "Appalachian Spring." Also included is the lyrical pop song "Ordinary Miracle," performed by vocalist Sarah McLachlan.
