C Note's debut album Different Kind of Love features the Orlando quartet's smooth harmonies and Latin-tinged dance-pop. Originally on Transcontinental Records, the first home of chart sensations like the Backstreet Boys and N'Sync, C Note have a similar appeal, but their own unique charisma and bilingual approach. The group's musical range spans funky numbers like "Wait Till I Get Home" and ballads such as "One Night With You." "I Like" (a cover of the 1989 Guy hit) features a sample of KC & the Sunshine Band's "That's The Way (I Like It)" -- another fine detail in a well-crafted pop confection. With its mix of diversity and talent, Different Kind of Love showcases a different kind of vocal group.
