专辑介绍
Masterpieces was released in Japan and Australia in anticipation for Bob Dylan's 1978 tour. It is more or less a greatest hits collection spanning his entire career up that point. However, the 3-LP set does include one side of material that was previously unreleased on any album, including Rita May and George Jackson and a unique outtake version of Mixed Up Confusion as well as controversial live performances first released on Self Portrait. It was reissued on CD in 1991 by Sony Music (Cat. No. 4624489). This item is no longer in print and is somewhat of a rarity.
