Danny Saucedo (born as Daniel Gabriel Alessandro Saucedo Grzechowski on 25 February 1986 in Stockholm, Stockholms Län, Sweden) is a Swedish singer, often presented just as Danny, who competed as one of the finalists in Idol 2006 — the Swedish version of Idol. His mother is from Bolivia and his father is from Poland. In 2006, he released his first single Öppna Din Dörr, a track by Tommy Nilsson which charted at #24 on the Swedish singles chart.
In May 2007, Danny released his début album Heart Beats, which reached #1 on the album charts. To date, three singles from the album have been released "Tokyo" (#1), "Play It for the Girls" (#1) and "If Only You" (#3), a duet with fellow Swedish singer Therese. There was a release of "Hey (I've been feeling kind of lonely) in Poland. Danny is also a member of the boyband E.M.D.
On December 24th, 2008 his second solo studio album "Set Your Body Free" will be released. The lead-single "Radio" co-written and produced by Tobias Gustavsson and published by Aesona Music Publishing, reached #1 on the swedish charts and stayed there for 2 weeks to date.
Danny is one of the most successful male swedish artists since 2006. In January he won a "Grammi", the most important swedish music price.
Set Your Body Free' is the second solo album by Swedish pop/dance singer Danny Saucedo. It was released on Christmas eve in Sweden, on December 24th, 2008.
