A mellow blend of male & female vocals delivering sticky-sweet harmonies, a stable of organic instrumentation (including viola, saxophone, theremin, piano), and breezy melodies.... Get ready for the hottest sound to hit your summer - Lorna's "This Time Each Year". To be released by Detroit-based HybridElectric Records on June 1, 2004, this is something we like to call "cottage-rock" - a mellow blend of male & female vocals delivering sticky-sweet harmonies, a stable of organic instrumentation (including viola, saxophone, theremin, piano), and breezy melodies that take you far away without leaving your easy chair! Formed in Nottingham, England as a one-man studio project in 1997, Lorna have evolved to include up to six members, adding to the lushness of their music. Following a recent tour of Spain, the band is gearing up for a week-long tour of the US later in 2004.
