For this New Orleans session, vocalist-pianist-lyricist Mose Allison utilized several top local but world-class musicians: tenor-saxophonist Tony Dagradi, guitarist Steve Masakowski, bassist Bill Huntington and drummer John Vidacovich. Among the new songs introduced at the session were &Ever Since I Stole The Blues,& &You Call It Joggin',& &The Gettin' Paid Waltz& and &My Backyard.& Allison, who is heard in top form, revived &That's Your Red Wagon& and &Sleepy Lagoon& and sounds in good spirits throughout this enjoyable and typically philosophical outing.
