Domenico Modugno is one of the more charismatic figures in the world of Italian music. By co-writing "Nel Blue Dipinto Di Blue (Volare)," he also cemented his place in Italian pop history by coming up with an internationally recognized smash. This live performance s that song and many of his others, which vary from that same sort of bouncy pop to moodier, groovier works that are more R&B influenced. Although nothing is as catchy and fun as "Volare," this is still a solid collection of Italian pop along those lines. Just be careful of the track listing, which seems to have a few significant mistakes.
