C-Bo doesn't show many signs of diversity on Til My Casket Drops, preferring to stick to the bass-heavy, hardcore gangsta funk that has defined '90s hip-hop instead of breaking new ground. The lack of new sounds, in conjunction with his fondness for cartoonish violence and self-mythologizing doom-and-gloom, can make Til My Casket Drops a little tiresome to some ears, bu the record remains C-BO's most consistently entertaining collection of rhymes, rhythms and beats since Tales from the Crypt.
