Wife Abbe Lane graces only the jacket this time, as does a giant loaf of French bread. The title comes from the Italian movie series of titles beginning Bread, Love, and... Half the songs feature the singing of Puerto Rican guitarist and composer Pepito Arvelo. Particularly interesting is &Very, Very Satisfied,& a marvelous calypso that seems somehow to have escaped tribute from countless calypsonians and would-be calypso singers. A fine, diverse collection, Bread, Love, and Cha Cha Cha has new tunes as well as standards, many of which are new recordings for Cugat.
