The debut album by this superb Hungarian avant- rock band is marred by one of the catchiest illnesses to plague music since the invention of the drum machine; i.e. the drum machine itself, used in place of a real drummer that would have made this music sound much more relaxed and dynamic. The trademark vocal and violin finesse from Gabi Kenderesi is here in its early stages, a good way to also describe the entire production as in retrospect it is easy to hear to what extent the group has developed from this starting point. Some songs such as &I Saw Him on Two Hands& are as good as anything the group has ever done. Lyrics are sung in Hungarian, but an English translation is provided. Production was coordinated by Dutch avant- rock group the Ex, who had the foresight to give this talented band a push.
